Nutria Infestation Removed from Home Owners in North Florida

Team Quick Catch helped to eliminate a nutria infestation from a local north Florida residence. Nutria are aquatic animals similar to beavers that can cause a lot of damage.

Nutria boost the fur-trade and nutria population sky rocketed, dig big funnel systems and cause a lot of erosion. Quick Catch counted over 13 nutria in apartment complex causing in a lot of damage digging tunnels and caving in the land. Quick brought caught a lot of traps to catch the nutria. Using apples, carrots and cabbage and the proper technique, team Quick Catch gets to work.

They move fast and can cause a lot of damage but are not normally aggressive but can get territorial when it comes to their offspring. They have teeth kind of like a beaver and can leave a bad bite if they are provoked. Their dens can be fifteen feet in the ground.

After setting the trap, team quick catch came back to check the traps and caught two small nutria. They returned for the large nutria and ensured the problem was solved.

Quick Catch also managed to catch an opossum for the residents who had the nutria problem.
